My dog is getting a little bit older and so I want to find out some diet information that is going to help my dog to be healthy even as it ages. I just checked out this link http://www.doggybakery.org/yes-your-dog-needs-fiber-too/ and was kind of surprised to learn that dogs need dietary fiber in their diets too. I am not sure what sort of food would be best to fulfill that roll, because I usually just feed my dog cooked meat. I started feeding my dog meat a few years ago because it was an attempt to give it a more natural diet, so that is why I am confused about this fiber thing but I guess I can see it.
Anyway, I am going to learn some more about dog nutrition as I already said, my dog is getting older and I think that I need to take care of it better, to make sure that he lives to a ripe old age. More importantly, if he is going to live for a long time, I want to make sure that he is going to be healthy, or as healthy as possible. That way his life will be as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. I think it is a duty as a pet owner to make sure that your pet has a good life, because it does not make sense to own a pet if you are not going to do that. I would go so far to say that it is not even ethical to own a pet if you are not committed to their happiness and their well-being. But of course, I do not think that a lot of the people in the world who own pets own them for the right reasons. I guess some things will never change though.
